The School of Pharmacy University of London: Staying at the cutting edge

The School of Pharmacy is one the most highly rated schools in the UK, currently ranked 5th in the world. Founded in 1842, the school is dedicated to teaching and research in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.

It challenges conventional thinking staying at the cutting edge of science, through its uniquely talented students and researchers.

With its total dedication to pharmacy education, the school wanted to rebrand to truly reflect its vibrant spirit and pioneering qualities: creating a modern and contemporary identity.

Pioneering purpose

Pioneering purpose

Working closely with the internal team and newly appointed dean; the core objective was to create a unifying brand identity, embracing the School’s state-of-the-art approach.

The identity has been drawn to include a graphic metaphor of a square, a reference to its nickname as ‘The Square’. It also includes vivid visual imagery of various molecular structures produced by the school image team.

This new dynamic visual language and tone of voice is applied across the School’s key brand touch points, including magazines, prospectus, website and signage and messaging for the built environment.
